Anxiety in children can occur because of various reasons. Perhaps, because of studies, virtual relationships, attraction, goals, friendship, the generation gap, and any other reason that needs to be traced as soon a possible. Constant anxiety in children can result in depression. It can also be manifested in form of reduced physical activities and lack of interest in everything.

Anxiety is a quite natural phenomenon that exists within everyone. However, when it becomes overwhelming, then that can be a serious trouble. Anxiety can be really alarming as it dramatically stresses the human body. There can be reactions of quicker heartbeats, dizziness, shaky and sweaty palm and breathing problem.  2. Understand your child`s feeling but don’t legitimise them

It’s important to comprehend the validation behind the worry of your child. However, that does not mean agreeing to it. In case your child feels scared to visit a clinic, then listen to them empathetically but stop amplifying the fears. Encourage your children to face and combat the difficult situations of life. The main message that you need to convey is, “I know it’s quite scary, but that’s okay, please don’t worry, I’ll help you in getting through it”.

 3. Stop comparing your child with others and have realistic expectations

It’s good to expect your child to do well, but too much of it can be harmful. Make sure that you encourage your children without depressing them. Setting examples of others is quite a nice idea to motivate them. However, if you begin to compare the achievements of your children with others, then it would certainly bring disappointments and frustration. Every child has a different capacity and area of interest, expecting a fish to run like a cheetah has no point.

 4. Keep them away from negative atmosphere

Don’t expose your child to your personal problems and stress. The innocent brain of a child is like fragile flowers that get hurt very easily. Loud tone and harsh behaviour can cause perpetual sadness within the tiny being. Stay polite and act patiently with your baby. Don’t impose yourself; instead, try to convince them for everything in a loving and playful manner.

The little beings don’t have the power to express everything that they suffer from. They keep their feelings to themselves and eventually lose their childishness. Having a sensitive and affectionate behaviour towards children is very necessary for the children to beat their stress levels.
