Most Romans are friendly and kind, so asking for directions and instructions won’t be a hassle. Here’s your itinerary for when you are in the city.

With a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes suiting every taste and budget, you can indulge in one of world’s finest cuisines with ease and pleasure.

Take a trip to the local art museums and galleries such as the Borghese Gallery, Corsini Gallery, Doria Pamphilj Gallery, Palazzo Altemps, MAXXI and Capitoline Museums and indulge in some wonderful and brilliant visual treats which are sure to make you fall in love with the artists of Rome!

Go wine-tasting: When in Rome, you can simply not afford to return home without having spent a tantalising and enriching day at a local vineyard and learning about the ancient winemaking history of the beautiful city and tasting some wine on any of the numerous winery tours offered.

Shopping: As the capital of one the world’s most fashionable and chic countries, Rome boasts of a wide variety of shops where you can discover top-class and elegant brands and designer wear which are sure to surprise and delight your family and friends once you get back home! Besides clothes, you can also buy fresh and high-quality local produce to cater to your cooking needs (that is if you get to cook at the place you stay) and some cute knickknacks to take home for your dearies.

Explore it on cycle: Rome is a different by day and by night. The cobbled stone pathways are best explored on foot or on a cycle. Strap on a helmet and protective knee pads and wheel your way through the balances. As the sun goes down, stop by a bar or a night club and enjoy a drink or dance the night away.

Once you’ve made your decision to travel to Rome and immerse yourself in its enticing and vibrant culture, remember that you’ll be completely fine and fabulous on your own in the beautiful and historical city, where you are sure to rediscover yourself, perhaps make some fantastic friends for life and take home some enriching and enlightening experiences.
